Florence de Voldère Gallery
Visual identity for a gallery specialising in Flemish paintings
A gallery of Flemish masters whose only identity was its catalogues. Yet these paintings tell of nature and daily life through the year: the seasons become the thread of the whole universe. The monogram draws on the ones the Bruegels, the best-known dynasty, placed on their canvases. The site opens on an animated work from the gallery, one for winter, one for spring. And the business card is a puzzle: laid side by side, the cards piece the Wedding painting back together.

Logo
Flemish painters signed with a monogram, a few letters knotted in a corner of the canvas. The gallery's is drawn in that spirit, after the Bruegels': a signature rather than a logo, for a house that sells signatures.
Website & Animated Paintings
Two animated Flemish paintings serve as the homepage background video, changing with the season: in winter, a snow-covered work by Antoine de Verstralen; in spring, a floral composition by Jan Breughel.

Puzzle Business Card
Each card is a fragment. Laid side by side, they piece the Wedding painting back together. A card no one throws away, because it is a piece of a work of art.
BRAFA 2021 Presentation Film
In 2021, BRAFA did not take place in Brussels: Covid kept it online. So the film stood in for the stand. It presents the gallery, then settles on a single painting, long enough to make you want it. When the fair is a screen, it is the film that lets you in.
